Fourteen truckloads of UN humanitarian support crossed into northwestern Syria on Friday by Türkiye after the area was hit by lethal earthquakes on Monday.
The vans entered the Idlib area by the Bab al-Hawa border crossing through the Cilvegozu border gate in Türkiye’s southern Hatay province, in accordance with an Anadolu correspondent within the discipline.
Sent as a part of the UN’s cross-border support efforts, the help can be delivered to individuals in want within the area, Anadolu confirmed.
Six earlier vans had on Thursday arrived in Idlib, which felt the highly effective earthquakes centered in southern Türkiye.
A protracted-running support operation into Syria has been in place since 2014, with the Cilvegozu gate at present serving as the one path for UN support.
