Containers for quake victims in Türkiye from Qatar and different nations are on their manner, the Turkish transport and infrastructure minister has mentioned.

Adil Karaismailoglu mentioned on Friday at a news convention in Adiyaman province that containers will arrive at Turkish ports and might be distributed to provinces affected by the quakes.

“We are working on the transfer of our citizens living in tent cities to container cities,” he mentioned.

The first container ships, which had been loaded from Qatar and set off on February 14, are anticipated to reach on the Iskenderun Port on March 3 or 4, based on the ministry’s information.

The 5 ships that set off regularly are carrying 1,388 residing containers and 627 pallets of humanitarian support.
