At least 44,374 individuals have died within the two robust earthquakes that jolted southeastern Türkiye on Feb. 6, an official from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated on Sunday.
Yunus Sezer, head of AFAD, stated search and rescue work has been accomplished in practically 21,000 buildings, including, “We are now fully focused on debris removal.”
