A magnitude 5.6 earthquake jolted the province of Malatya in jap Türkiye on Monday, weeks after two large tremors shook the area.

The earthquake was centered 6.96 kilometers (4.32 miles) beneath the floor within the district of Yesilyurt, putting at 12.04 p.m. native time (0904GMT), stated the nation’s catastrophe administration company.
