Saudi Arabia sends new aid plane to quake victims in Türkiye

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday despatched a brand new aircraft loaded with humanitarian support for the victims of final month’s lethal earthquakes that killed hundreds in Türkiye.

The aircraft carrying 86 tons of shelter supplies, together with 1,700 tents, 10,800 winter luggage, 2,520 mattresses and 1,800 blankets, flew from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Gaziantep Airport in Türkiye, the state news company SPA reported.
