Russia has simplified employment procedures for overseas IT specialists, a authorities official stated on Wednesday.
Residence permits for IT employees and their households will now be simpler to accumulate, Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk advised Russian news company TASS.
“For foreign citizens who are specialists in the field of information technology, the procedure for employment and obtaining a residence permit in Russia has been simplified,” Volk stated.
The period of the permits will probably be indefinite, she stated.
Moscow has been taking measures to spice up the event of its IT sector for a number of years, together with steps to draw each Russian residents and specialists from different nations.
