The Ukrainian Border Guard Service introduced on Thursday the signing of a protocol with Moldova on joint management on the Serpneve-1-Basarabeasca railway checkpoint.
The protocol was signed by the heads of border and customs departments, an announcement printed on Telegram stated.
It added that the settlement “will improve security, promote the development of transit potential and intensify trade and economic activities” between the 2 nations.
