World-renowned chefs train impaired students in İzmir

The Dokuz Eylül University (DEU), a well-established greater schooling establishment in Türkiye, is internet hosting a three-day worldwide workshop known as “Deaf Chefs Learn World Cuisine” between Monday and Wednesday. The workshop options world-renowned cooks providing culinary coaching to impaired college students.

The college’s Tourism Faculty Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is educating German, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Turkish cuisines to deaf college students as a part of the Erasmus Vocational Education Project.

Different shows from world cuisines are remodeled into open-access digital studying supplies.

The occasion started with shows by Chef Bernd Malter and Chef Ralf Bernhard Meneghini, showcasing examples from Swedish, Portuguese, and Italian cuisines.

“I’m happy to contribute to the program for hearing-impaired individuals who would learn about the culinary profession,” stated Michelin-starred Malter.
