Turkish coast guards proceed to seek for 9 lacking crew members of Ukraine-bound business ship Joe 2 that sank near Türkiye’s southern province of Antalya.

A Guinea-Bissau flagged cargo ship with 14 crew members on board has sank off Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast, Turkish officers stated.
Five crew members have been rescued whereas efforts to seek out 9 others have been underway on Wednesday.
The Joe 2 sank off the coast of Kumluca, some 37 km off the coast of Antalya province, whereas heading to Ukraine from the Turkish port of Iskenderun, native authorities stated.
The explanation for the ship sinking was not instantly clear.
The Turkish Coast Guard Command stated it obtained a misery name at 3:47 am and dispatched a vessel, a number of boats and two helicopters.
Two crew members have been rescued by the coast guard helicopters whereas three others have been saved by different vessels within the space, it stated.
All of the crew have been Syrian nationals.
The coast guard stated an investigation has been launched by the chief prosecutor’s workplace for Kumluca.
