Türkiye has vowed to participate in all preventative measures to battle international disinformation and digital terrorism.
In a video message despatched to a media workshop within the northwestern Bursa province on Wednesday, Turkish Communications Director Fahrettin Altun identified the transformation that the brand new technology of media launched with improvements throughout news receiving and manufacturing.
He mentioned critical challenges have emerged together with new alternatives for people, societies and nations in media.
“We must establish common platforms that will act jointly with the Turkic states in fighting fake news and disinformation targeting goodness and truth.
“We will say ‘no’ to racism, we’ll break international tutelage, and we’ll develop our institutional capacities,” Altun said, pledging to boost Türkiye’s reputation to the highest level in its region and the world.
“We will communicate what is true, not what’s imposed; we’ll unfold justice, peace, tranquillity and prosperity to the entire world,” he vowed.
