Don’t take them lightly: Pharmacists warn against ‘supplement food’

They should not be fooled by the price or attractive offers on the internet because the World Health Organization (WHO) confirms that the vast majority of products sold on the internet are counterfeit.”

Saydan emphasised that residents shouldn’t depend on the phrases written on the merchandise. “Don’t be fooled by the ‘not a drug’ label put on supplementary food boxes, supplements such as vitamins and minerals under the name of ‘food supplements’ are also drugs.”
