The workplace of the French Ombudsman Claire Hedon revealed a report on foreigners’ elementary rights in 2019-2022, saying entry to residence allow functions and renewal providers at prefectures have been probably the most violated rights.
The variety of complaints filed to the workplace in 2022 concerning the problem elevated by 9% in comparison with the earlier 12 months, and surpassed 125,000, the report mentioned on Monday.
Also, the variety of violations of foreigners’ entry rights elevated from 6,540 to 21,666 – a 231% rise – between 2019 and 2022, the report added.
This charge went up by 450% within the Ile-de-France area, together with the capital Paris.
