Three Russian pilots have been returned from captivity in Ukraine, the Defense Ministry stated on Saturday.
“As a result of a difficult negotiation process, three Russian servicemen-pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces who were in mortal danger in captivity— were returned from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime,” stated a ministry assertion.
The servicemen are getting needed medical and psychological help and shall be transported to medical and rehabilitation facilities, it added.
The final prisoner change between Russia and Ukraine occurred on April 16, with the 2 nations asserting swaps from the continued 14-month battle on a month-to-month foundation.
