YouTube services back up for most users – Downdetector

User studies of outages at Alphabet Inc’s YouTube and YouTube TV fell sharply early on Friday from a peak of over 13,000 incidents of individuals reporting points with YouTube, outage monitoring web site Downdetector.com confirmed.

YouTube didn’t reply to Reuters’ requests for touch upon the reason for the outage or its decision.

Users reporting points with YouTube dropped to 18 as of 1:25 am ET (05:25 GMT) from the height of the disruption, Downdetector information confirmed.

Outage studies on YouTube TV fell to simply 2 at 1:30 am ET (05:30 GMT) after over 3000 customers reported points.

Downdetector tracks outages by collating standing studies from a number of sources, together with user-submitted errors on its platform.
