The skill to promote on Twitter has been banned. The Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) has prohibited promoting on the social media platform Twitter.
The determination to ban commercials was taken resulting from Twitter’s failure to nominate a consultant and fulfill reporting obligations.
According to the choice printed within the official newspapper by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK), it was said that new commercials on Twitter by people and authorized entities who’re taxpayers in Turkey have been prohibited.
The BTK introduced that this determination was made in accordance with the Law on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and the Fight Against Crimes Committed Through These Publications.
