Liverpool’s Anfield welcomes new signing, Dutch Cody Gakpo

Liverpool have confirmed the seize of the extremely sought-after Netherlands worldwide, ahead Cody Gakpo, on Wednesday.

Gakpo, who shot to fame together with his exploits on the World Cup, joins the Reds from PSV Eindhoven in a transfer that can little doubt have the Kop buzzing with pleasure.

The 23-year-old Gakpo, who scored three targets on the World Cup, will formally be a part of the Premier League membership when the switch window opens on Sunday.

PSV introduced on Monday that it had agreed to the switch for an undisclosed payment, describing it as a “record” for the Dutch membership.

“This is a good membership for me to return in and attempt to present what I can (do) and attempt to assist the crew to attain extra lovely moments that they already did prior to now years,” Gakpo informed Liverpool’s web site.

Gakpo scored 55 targets and offered 50 assists in 159 appearances for PSV.

Chelsea deal

Chelsea has agreed to signal striker David Datro Fofana from Norwegian membership Molde.

The 20-year-old Ivory Coast worldwide will be a part of Chelsea on New Year’s Day, the Premier League membership confirmed Wednesday.

The phrases of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Fofana was the main scorer for Molde, considered one of Erling Haaland’s former golf equipment, with 15 league targets final season. He’s made three appearances for his nationwide crew.

Molde’s assertion famous that Fofana is wanting ahead to following within the footsteps of his idol, Didier Drogba.
