Turkish security forces rescue dozens of irregular migrants in Aegean Sea

The Turkish Coast Guard on Saturday rescued a complete of 38 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea.

A complete of 19 irregular migrants have been rescued off the district of Foca in Izmir province from a life raft, the Coast Guard Command mentioned on its web site.

Also, 19 migrants in a lifeboat off Mugla province’s Datca district have been rescued after being pushed into Turkish territorial waters by Greek forces, in keeping with the Coast Guard Command.

The migrants have been taken to the provincial migration administration directorate.

Türkiye and international rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful follow of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with ladies and kids.
