Russian air defences have downed 25 Ukrainian drones over the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula, the Defence Ministry stated in Moscow.
Anti-aircraft hearth had shot down 16 of the drones despatched over by the “Kiev regime,” and an additional 9 over the Tarkhankut Peninsula within the excessive west of Crimea had been rendered innocent by digital jamming, the ministry stated.
There have been no accidents or injury to property, it stated.
Many Russians are at present holidaying in Crimea, a preferred summertime resort that was illegally annexed by Moscow’s forces in 2014.
