Some 15,000 tons of grains had been broken when a blast ripped via grain silos close to the port of Derince in northwest Türkiye on Monday, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications mentioned in a press release.

The blast befell as a consequence of wheat mud compression in the course of the switch of wheat from a ship to the silos, Seddar Yavuz, the governor of Kocaeli province, mentioned Monday. It was not clear what different grains had been saved within the silos.
