Burkini-wearing Muslim women kicked out of beach in Italy

A gaggle of Muslim girls carrying burkini swimsuits was prevented from swimming at a seashore in northeastern Italy, a report stated Monday.

The girls have been prevented from swimming by one other group of ladies within the women-only part of the Lido Pedicin seashore, Europe’s solely segregated seashore, within the Trieste metropolis, based on the state-run ANSA news company.

The Muslim girls have been prevented by the group as a consequence of “hygiene issue,” the report stated.

Later, the Muslim group requested for clarification from the seashore administration however they have been advised that there is no such thing as a regulation on the problem.

The incident got here a month after Anna Maria Cisint, the mayor of northern Monfalcone city, wrote an open letter to the Muslim group, saying being absolutely clothed on seashores is “unacceptable.”
