In the previous week, 22 members of terrorist organizations trying to illegally cross into Greece have been apprehended within the first-degree navy restricted zone on the Greek border, by way of controls performed by Provincial Gendarmerie Command items and the 54th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Command.
It was decided that 7 of the suspects are affiliated with PKK and 15 with FETÖ, making them topics of search warrants.
The procedures of the suspects on the gendarmerie are ongoing.
