British safety sources claimed on Thursday that Russia’s intelligence company is most definitely behind the airplane crash that killed all 10 passengers on board, together with Wagner mercenary group head Yevgeny Prigozhin, based on media reviews.
UK protection sources advised BBC that Russia’s home intelligence company, the Federal Security Service, or the FSB is “most likely to have targeted Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plane.”
Former MI6 head Richard Dearlove advised the Telegraph that Prigozhin’s demise was “unsurprising.”
“I’m sure it’ll be presented as an accident and there will be an element of doubt, but everyone in the West will come to the same conclusion-that this is Putin’s revenge on people who challenge his power base,” he added.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency introduced late Wednesday that an Embraer-135 plane crashed in Russia’s Tver area whereas flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg, killing all 10 passengers on board, together with three crew members.
The company later launched an inventory of the names of these aboard the plane, which included Prigozhin, Wagner co-founder Dmitry Utkin, and different Wagner personnel.
The company launched investigations into the incident, whereas Russia’s Investigative Committee stated in an announcement on Telegram that it opened a legal case on the premise of “violation of traffic safety rules and operation of air transport.”
