A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook Türkiye’s Malatya province Thursday night and was felt within the Adıyaman province, in keeping with the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The first quake’s epicenter was the Battalgazi district and happened at a depth of 6.99 kilometers.
It was adopted by a magnitude-4.7 tremor which happened solely three minutes after the primary one.
No casualties or injury had been reported initially, Malatya Governor Ersin Yazıcı instructed state broadcaster TRT.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya mentioned that no casualties had been reported after the earthquake and that every one emergency and first response groups had been on the sector to observe any injury.
On Feb. 6, twin main quakes shook southeastern Türkiye and northern Syria, killing greater than 50,000 folks and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless.
