Turkish Red Crescent dispatches food assistance to Kyrgyzstan

The Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) distributed meals parcels to 1,000 households in want in Kyrgyzstan inside the scope of the marketing campaign carried out with the slogan “This Ramadan is Not Without You.”

Kızılay, which carries out actions at house and overseas to succeed in extra individuals in want throughout Ramadan, mobilized its volunteers and knowledgeable employees to hold what the benefactors share to the tables of hundreds of thousands.

Habibe Kalyoncu, Head of Kızılay Delegation to Central Asia, instructed an Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent that, in cooperation with the Kyrgyzstan Red Crescent, they distributed meals parcels to 1,000 households in want in eight cities within the nation and arranged an iftar program for 250 individuals.

The meals parcel distribution in Kyrgyzstan was accompanied by members of the delegation headed by Kızılay Headquarters Board Member Yener Tanık, together with Kızılay Balıkesir Branch President Mustafa Burak Kelemençe and Young Kızılay Siirt Provincial President Muhammed Osman Tatlav.

Tanık, the delegation’s head, said that that they had accomplished the distribution of meals parcels to these in want by going door to door and thanked the individuals of Kyrgyzstan for extending a serving to hand to the victims of the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş on Feb. 6, 2023.
