Türkiye’s Communications Directorate stated Monday that it’s going to quickly share new software program to detect deepfake movies each domestically and internationally.

Idris Kardas, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, stated they’re working 24 hours a day in cooperation with all public establishments to stop disinformation and supply society with correct data.

“As the Center for Combating Disinformation, we are working on software. Hopefully, it will be ready soon. In a month or so, we will launch an application that detects these ‘deepfake’ videos. We will offer it to Türkiye and other countries around the world,” stated Kardas at a convention in central Konya province.
