Sacked Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez mentioned Saturday he was leaving the membership with a “clear conscience”.
President Joan Laporta took the choice to take away the previous midfield nice on Friday, mere weeks after saying he was delighted Xavi was staying for the ultimate 12 months of his contract.
In January the coach mentioned he would depart on the finish of the season however after a surge in kind in April he and Laporta introduced that he would stay in cost subsequent season.

“They have decided this, thinking about the club and that it needed a change in direction, I can only accept it and respect it,” continued the coach.
“We want a relaxation, and (if Barca want me once more) we’ll consider the circumstances.
“I hope we can return to work for and with the club of our lives.”
As a participant Xavi made 767 appearances for the Catalan membership, behind solely Lionel Messi, successful eight La Liga titles and 4 Champions Leagues amongst different trophies.
Former Bayern Munich and Germany coach Hansi Flick is closely tipped to exchange Xavi.
Flick, 59, has not coached since Germany sacked him in 2023 after a poor run of outcomes.
Previously Flick steered Bayern to a treble in 2020, together with an 8-2 thrashing of Barcelona within the Champions League quarter-finals.
