Balkan nations to send search, rescue teams to quake-hit Türkiye

Several Balkan international locations introduced that they’d be sending search and rescue events to Türkiye within the wake of highly effective earthquakes that left 2,315 individuals dying and 13,293 others injured.

Croatian Minister of Internal and European Affairs, Gordan Grlic Radman, stated a 40-person search and rescue workforce and 10 canine would despatched to Türkiye.

“Croatia is in solidarity with Türkiye. We understand the situation well since Croatia also lives with earthquakes,” stated Radman.

Türkiye’s Ambassador to Belgrade Hami Aksoy stated Serbia was sending a search and rescue workforce of 27 individuals upon the instruction of President Aleksandar Vucic.

Montenegro can be sending a 15-person workforce, whereas Bosnia and Herzegovina might be deploying 17 individuals and two canine to assist catastrophe authorities in Türkiye.

The Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated individually {that a} 12-person workforce was able to set off for Türkiye.
