Türkiye’s retail gross sales quantity was up by 28.5% in June on an annual foundation, the nation’s statistical division mentioned Friday.
According to TurkStat knowledge, retail gross sales rose by 26.6% for meals, drinks and tobacco, 32% for non-food, and 19.4% for automotive gas.
Under non-food, computer systems, books and telecommunication tools gross sales elevated by 52.3%, digital items and furnishings rose by 32.9%, and textile, clothes and footwear gross sales had been up by 19.9%.
Meanwhile, medical items and beauty gross sales dropped by 2.8%.
Sales through mail orders and the Internet rose by 43.4% in June on a yearly foundation.
The retail turnover index was up by 73% year-on-year in June; 89.3% for meals, drinks and tobacco, 96.2% for non-food and three.2% for automotive gas.
On a month-to-month foundation, general retail gross sales dropped by 0.1% within the nation.
