Newly appointed Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek headed to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday.
According to an announcement revealed by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, Şimşek and Yılmaz departed Ankara for the UAE late Wednesday for a one-day working go to.
Last month, the UAE and Türkiye ratified a complete partnership settlement.
Ties between Türkiye and the Arab world are experiencing a significant thaw after years of tense relations.
Ankara and Abu Dhabi have moved to place years of tense relations behind them, opening the doorways to a brand new part in bilateral relations marked by deeper financial cooperation after a yearslong dispute.
