Grammy-winning singer Anita Pointer died on Saturday on the age of 74 following a battle with most cancers, her publicist mentioned.
One of the founding members of R&B group The Pointer Sisters, she delighted followers internationally with hits together with “I’m So Excited,” “Jump,” and “Fire.”
Along with sisters June and Ruth, the group from Oakland, California launched their first album in 1973 earlier than occurring to win three Grammy Awards.
