The Chicago Bulls on Tuesday signed Turkish small ahead Onuralp Bitim, the NBA franchise confirmed.
In a press release, the Bulls stated they signed Bitim on “a two-way contract,” which suggests the 24-year-old will cut up his time between the Chicago Bulls in NBA, and the Windy City Bulls within the G League subsequent season.
The G League is a minor basketball division within the US and Canada.
“Let’s gooo #BullsNation,” Bitim stated on Twitter. The Türkiye ahead averaged 18.4 factors, 4.8 rebounds, and three.6 assists in 30 video games for Turkish Super Lig membership Bursaspor within the 2022-23 season.
He was a 2019 Turkish champion with Anadolu Efes, and gained the Turkish league’s Slam Dunk Contest in 2020.
Last season Bitim was named within the All-EuroCup Second Team.
He is the Bulls’ first Turkish participant since former middle Omer Asik, who performed for Chicago in 2010-2012, and 2018.
