Attila Szalai moved to Hoffenheim from Fenerbahçe Monday to signal a four-year contract till 2027.
“The 25-year-old Hungarian international has moved from Fenerbahçe to Hoffenheim and has signed a contract until 30th June 2027,” Hoffenheim stated in a press release.
The Yellow Canaries stated on the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that they might pay a €12.3 million ($13.6 million) switch price to the Turkish membership for Szalai.
Fenerbahçe additional acknowledged that the solidarity contribution charges that can come up in accordance with the FIFA directions may also be coated by Fenerbahçe.
Hungarian defender helped the Istanbul membership win the 2022-23 Turkish Cup.
Last season, Szalai produced three objectives and two assists in 52 matches, together with UEFA Europa League, Turkish Super Lig, and Turkish Cup.
