Barca stun Wolfsburg with comeback to win womens Champions League

Barcelona fought again from 2-0 all the way down to beat Germany’s Wolfsburg 3-2 and elevate their second Champions League title in Eindhoven on Saturday.

Barca, who misplaced final season’s remaining to Olympique Lyon having lifted their maiden trophy in 2021, have been reeling after simply three minutes when Wolfsburg’s Poland striker Ewa Pajor robbed England full again Lucy Bronze and fired house beautifully.

Alexandra Popp then headed within the second from Pajor’s cross towards the run of play on 37 minutes.

But Patricia Guijarro Gutiérrez levelled the conflict with a quick-fire double early within the second half and former Wolfsburg participant Fridolina Rolfö made it 3-2 for the Spanish champions on 70 minutes.
