Novak Djokovic’s father Srdjan mentioned on Friday he would watch his son’s semi-final match at residence after a video emerged exhibiting him posing on the Australian Open with followers holding Russian flags.

“So there is no disruption to tonight’s semi-final for my son or for the other player, I have chosen to watch from home,” he mentioned in an emailed assertion.

“I am only here to support my son, I had no intention of causing such headlines or disruption,” he added.

He added that his household lived by the horror of struggle and “we wish only for peace.”
