Italy’s Data Protection Authority mentioned on Tuesday that it might maintain a gathering with representatives of OpenAI on Wednesday night, after the authority briefly banned the ChatGPT chatbot.
The Italian authority added that OpenAI despatched a letter on Monday to precise its willingness to collaborate with a view to respect the European privateness guidelines and attain a shared resolution.
Last week Microsoft-backed OpenAI took ChatGPT offline in Italy after the Data Protection Authority briefly banned the chatbot and launched a probe over the factitious intelligence utility’s suspected breach of privateness guidelines.
