Teknofest Izmir postponed over quakes in Türkiye’s southeast

The world’s largest aviation, area and expertise competition Teknofest, which was scheduled to happen in western Türkiye’s Izmir from March 16 to 19, has been postponed as a result of latest large earthquakes that hit the nation’s southeast and affected 10 provinces.

The competition organizers introduced the choice on Twitter, expressing their condolences to the nation and acknowledging the shared ache endured throughout the nation.

Organizers haven’t but introduced a brand new date for the occasion.

The competition was anticipating to host 1 million guests in Izmir. Organized by the Industry and Technology Ministry and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), Teknofest was to carry expertise fans collectively in Izmir on the one hundredth anniversary of the republic.

After Izmir, Teknofest is to be held in Istanbul from April 27 to May 1 and in Ankara from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3.
