Meta Platforms-owned Facebook and Instagram have been down for 1000’s of customers on Friday, based on outage-tracking web site Downdetector.com.

More than 12,000 customers reported having bother accessing Facebook, whereas over 6,600 customers have been having bother with Instagram.

Meta’s messaging service, WhatsApp, additionally had over 1,300 outage studies on Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating standing studies from numerous sources together with user-submitted errors on its platform.

Meta didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for remark.
