‘228th hour miracle’: Woman, 2 children rescued from debris in Hatay

A lady and two kids have been rescued from the rubble of “Uğur Apartment” on Oymak Street within the central Antakya district of Hatay on the 228th hour of the earthquake, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

A mom and her two kids, who have been rescued from the wreckage of their aparment, are stated to be recieving hospital remedy after being pulled out from the rubble.

Mehmet Eryılmaz, a mining employee of the Turkish Hard Coal Institution (TTK), which was one of many groups that rescued the overseas nationwide mom Ela and her kids Meysam and Ali Bağdet, advised Anadolu Agency (AA) that their work continues within the earthquake zone.

“A sound was heard during (search and rescue) works. We focused our work on that sound. The mother was happy to see us. I held her hand, at first. We talked, chatted, I tried to calm her down. After that, we continued our work. We have been working to save lives since we came (here). We are very happy. This is the fifth life we saved,” Eryılmaz famous.

Referring to the dialogue with the mom, he stated she requested for water first.

”’What day is it?’ she requested. I answered her. She stated her identify was Ela. She additionally stated the names of her kids, however I forgot (their names). One was a lady and one was a boy,” he concluded.
