Ankara-Sivas high-speed train soon to shorten distance, travel time

The Ankara-Sivas high-speed practice (YHT) line venture is on schedule and can start operation on April 28, following the Ramadan Bayram vacation, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu introduced Tuesday.

Karaismailoğlu acknowledged that the practice line, able to touring at 250 kph (155.34 mph), will scale back the space between Ankara and Sivas from 603 kilometers (374.69 miles) to 405 kilometers, with a journey time of simply two hours.
