A palm-sized Asia Minor floor squirrel cub was present in japanese Erzurum, looking for refuge from the scorching summers which have plagued the area. After receiving care and nourishment from involved residents, the lovable creature caught the eye of the devoted groups on the Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) Erzurum Branch Directorate.

Upon being knowledgeable in regards to the cub’s plight, the DKMP crew ensured its well-being. The squirrel was fed by residents by a syringe and positioned beneath the care of veterinarian Selçuk Albayrak.
