Kökçüoğlu emphasised that state help for beekeepers continues, mentioning that TL 25 million ($770,000) was paid to beekeepers in Adana as help for the yr 2023.

“As the Provincial Directorate, we provide training to our stakeholders, offer hive support, provide medications for bee diseases, and distribute sugar for winter maintenance and feeding. These supports will continue to increase in the coming years,” he added.

In the approaching days, Adana’s beekeepers will harvest sunflower honey within the plains as sunflowers bloom, after which they are going to transfer their bees to the town’s excessive plateaus, the place they are going to keep till late autumn.
