Death toll from floods in southeastern Türkiye rises to 16

The dying toll rose to 16 from Wednesday’s flash floods that hit Türkiye’s southeastern Adiyaman and Sanliurfa provinces.

According to the Sanliurfa governor’s workplace, at the very least 14 folks misplaced their lives and two others stay lacking within the province after the catastrophe.

Earlier, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu mentioned two folks in Adiyaman have been killed attributable to flooding.

Heavy downpours triggered a river, particularly in Adiyaman’s Tut district and in Malatya’s Dogansehir district, to overflow, inflicting flooding, Soylu added.
