The dying toll from the Kahramanmaraş-centered twin earthquakes in Türkiye’s southeast has reached 48,448, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated Monday.
The catastrophic earthquakes with magnitude 7.7 and seven.6 quakes struck 9 hours aside within the southeastern area of Türkiye, and severely hit neigbouring Syria, on Feb. 6, razed 1000’s of buildings and inflicting extreme injury on infrastructure.
