Hulusi Akar mentioned Greece made false accusations in opposition to Türkiye reminiscent of “expansionism, revisionist policies” with a purpose to cowl up its personal errors.

Athens needs 40,000 sq. kilometres (15,444 sq. miles) of the maritime jurisdiction with the zone that it attributes to the 10-square-kilometre (4-square-mile) island of Meis, which is round 600 kilometers (373 miles) from its mainland and simply 2 kilometres (1.24 miles) from the Turkish coast, he mentioned, including that Ankara would by no means enable this to occur.
Also, Athens is constant to arm japanese Aegean islands in violation of worldwide agreements and treaties, Akar added.

Ankara says that such moves frustrate its good-faith efforts for peace.
