Miracles continue: 42-year-old woman rescued from debris after 222 hours

It is the tenth day after the lethal earthquakes and hopes for survivors are slowly fading away, but 42-year-old Melike Imamoğlu was rescued on the 222nd hour.

At the 222nd hour of the earthquakes dubbed as “the disaster of the century,” Imamoğlu was pulled out of the rubble alive because of search and rescue efforts within the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş.

According to the knowledge obtained, it was decided that one individual was alive in the course of the search and rescue operations carried out within the wreckage of Özdemirler Apartment in Hayrullah District by the search and rescue groups from Bursa.

Imamoğlu was subsequently handed over to medical groups after being given first assist.
