Opposition party CHP faces criticism for blaming election defeat on earthquake victims

The Tekirdağ municipality, which is affiliated with the CHP, had initially allowed earthquake victims to remain in motels as non permanent lodging till August thirteenth. However, the municipality has now requested the victims to vacate the motels on May twenty first, after they voted in favor of President Erdoğan. This choice has been extensively criticized, with many accusing the CHP of punishing earthquake victims for his or her political affiliations.
