Plunged passenger bus pulled out of sea in Istanbul’s Eminönü

A passenger bus, plunged into the Marmara Sea in Istanbul’s Eminönü district early Thursday, has been pulled out of the ocean with the assistance of a crane after 6 hours of labor.

Reports confirmed the bus was parked and unoccupied on the time of the incident, sparing potential casualties.

Police and rescue staff responded swiftly to the scene whereas the bus driver has been arrested. The investigation is underway.
