TOKI delivers houses built for 2021 flood victims in Türkiye’s Kastamonu

Most of the 649 homes constructed by the Housing Development Administration of Türkiye (TOKI) for the victims of unprecedented floods that hit northern Kastamonu province in 2021 have been regularly delivered to the beneficiaries, in accordance with a report by Anadolu Agency (AA) on Sunday.

The flooding of the Ezine Stream on Aug. 11, 2021, claimed the lives of 65 individuals whereas dozens of buildings have been extremely broken.

Noting that the residents have acquired residences in 5 areas inside the district, Atıcı emphasised that TOKI and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) not solely assemble homes but in addition create dwelling areas with landscaping and parks.
