Turkish envoys discuss Türkiyes foreign policy priorities: Foreign minister

As Türkiye prepares to mark its one centesimal anniversary, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday mentioned the Turkish ambassadors mentioned the nation’s overseas coverage priorities.

“Particularly, we deeply analyzed what are their (ambassadors) priorities in ‘Century of Türkiye,’ what they’re purported to do, what are the threats and alternatives ready for us in our area and on the earth.

“We worked on them very systematically, region by region, subject by subject,” Fidan mentioned after the 14th Ambassadors Conference.

On Aug. 5-9, Turkish ambassadors serving overseas and at residence gathered within the capital Ankara for the convention to debate regional and worldwide developments, international traits, and up to date challenges and alternatives.

Fidan mentioned the ambassadors have been obtained by each President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş to offer them overseas coverage evaluations and pointers.

He added that the convention, in a panel format with collective participation, was “very productive.”

“We had the opportunity to discuss the issues in the form of detailed questions and answers with our ambassadors with three panels in total, by meeting with our relevant ministers and heads of institutions, especially in the fields of economy, finance, tourism, culture, security, science and technology,” Fidan mentioned.
