Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov mentioned the Black Sea grain deal in a telephone name on Friday.
Akar and Kubrakov exchanged views on guaranteeing clean operation of the grain hall, the Turkish National Defense Ministry mentioned in a press release.
The ministers expressed satisfaction over the work carried out on the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, it added.
Türkiye, the UN, Russia, and Ukraine signed a deal in Istanbul final July to renew grain exports from three Ukrainian Black Sea ports, which have been paused after the Russia-Ukraine battle started in February 2022.
A Joint Coordination Center with officers from the three nations and the UN was arrange in Istanbul to supervise the shipments.
Some 866 ships have since carried greater than 27 million tons of grain via the Black Sea hall.
